New way to save money as outlined by our president (why didn't I think of this???)

The president is going to send Congress a budget with and $1.3 trillion dollar deficits.  The 4th straight year of deficit spending.  I just don't know how to do this but I am trying to learn how.  Let me see.  If I over spend, like government does, I don't have anywhere to get more money.  Banks won't loan it.  Friends don't have it.  Government just 'takes it'. So guess what I would do?  Without. !!!!  THAT is the American way.  Do without until you can afford it.   I really like it when government has budget problems and the presidents starts saying how he won't be able to send social security checks etc (you know the rhetoric) but why doesn't he ever say that 'Michele and I will stop our lavish trips, or White House parties, or anything to do with government, Congress, pensions etc.  Why is it always us, the taxpayer, that suffers when government runs out of money but never the people that control the spending.

I read about a girl that was quoted as saying some of these things and found there was so much that her and I agreed on I thought I would let you know what I would do if I was in charge.  This has a lot to do of why I say ‘the sky is falling’

Put  me in charge of food stamps. I'd get rid of pretty little food stamp credit card and issue stamps but no cash. If your embarrassed about food stamps – get a job.

I believe the stamps should be used for 50-pound bags of rice and beans,
Blocks of cheese  and all the powdered milk you can carry and nothing else.  If you want
Steak and frozen pizza, then get a job.

Put  me in charge of Medicaid. We'll test recipients for drugs,  alcohol, nicotine and give you birth control. If you want to reproduce or  use drugs, alcohol, or smoke, then get a  job.

Put me in charge of government housing.   Ever live in a military barracks?

You will maintain  our property in a clean and good state of repair.
Your  home" will be subject to inspections anytime and  possessions will be inventoried.  If you want a  plasma TV or Xbox 360, then get a job and your own  place.

In addition, you will either present a check  stub from a job each week or you will report to a  "government" job.  It may be cleaning the  roadways
of trash, painting and repairing public  housing, whatever we will find work for you. 

Before you write that I've violated someone's rights, realize that all of
The above  is voluntary.  If you want our money, accept our rules.  Before you say that this would be  "demeaning" and ruin someone's "self esteem," consider that  it wasn't that long ago that taking someone else's money  for doing absolutely nothing was demeaning and lowered  self esteem.

If we are expected to pay for other  people's mistakes we should at least attempt to make  them learn from their bad choices.  The current  system rewards them for continuing to make bad  choices.

AND While you are on Gov't subsistence,  you no longer can VOTE!  Yes, that is  correct.  For you to vote would be a conflict of  interest.  You will
voluntarily remove yourself  from voting while you are receiving a Gov't Welfare  check.  If you want to vote, then get a  job.

Well that is what I would do.  Anyone think that is a bad idea or has a better one......let me know.

 A little note to those that think society is decaying because of gambling and ignore the truth that it is losing its core foundation,  freedom of choice.   I congratulate you on a victory that has stopped legal gambling in South Florida for another year.  You should be proud and celebrate because this was accomplished by the help of two of the states powerful forces.  The Seminole Indian Tribe and Walt Disney World.  We all can imagine the reason behind the Seminole Indian Tribe because they obviously don ’ t want competition.  But Disney isn ’t quite as obvious and in fact is quite devious although its motives are the same.  They don’t want anyone passing up Disney World on its way to South Florida.  Disney hides its greedy agenda by pretending to promotes ‘f amily value ’.  The fact is that Disney actually exploits children with their hidden attempt to line their pockets with more of ‘the families’ money.  How many ads does Disney run that targets grown ups?  They target children and then expect the children to embarrass their parents into taking them to Disney World to eat $8.00 hamburgers.  I find it ironic that their figure head is a mouse from the rodent family or is it a weakly disguised rat in a tux. It reaps huge profits by treating its employees terrible by promoting a ‘family value image’. If Disney really cared about the ‘family value’ and the ‘family image’ then maybe it would contribute some of it billions to the City of Orlando to help fight crime so every morning when I turn on the TV I don’t have t o hear about another person being shot in Central Florida.  That to me is a decaying society and there is no gambling in Orlando but plenty of decaying buildings.

Is it or is it not true that there is to be a separation between church and state? How can a Deltona city commissioner, who is also a pastor, make that separation?  Apparently he cannot.  He is now forcing his moral belief's on the citizens of Deltona, Orange City and Debary, by trying to impose restrictions, and possible elimination, on a business that has been in Deltona before Deltona was even a city.  Yes I am speaking of Dare Ware or The Adult Superstore or whatever name it has.  I do not believe that government was ever suppose to tell us what we should and should not do or view if we are living in a free country as we tell the rest of the world that is what we are.  Government should keep us safe and trying to decide what is morally safe is not within the scope of their ability.  There are far more people being harmed driving down I-4 talking by others on their phones or texting, than there are that go into a store such as the one in question.  So what is the problem?  There is none but Fred Lowry thinks it is his position to make one.  Children should have their moral compass decided at home not by a government.  Adult businessmen (or women) do not cater to children unless it is a child business like Chucky Cheese.  So please don't use children to try and convince us that you are doing your job of keeping us safe when the truth is your are using your position to impose your opinions on us all.  That is not right. I have never been in that business but sure is nice to know that I have the freedom to go if I so choose.  However I understand that freedom has it faults and one of them is tolerance.  To be free you must tolerate others views and opinions and if you don't well then maybe you should go to a more restrictive country and leave the freedom lovers alone.  I love it when people make statements about issues they know nothing about so they can look like they are doing something.  Just remember..............sometimes it is better to keep your mouth closed and let people think you are stupid than open it and remove all doubt.

Uninformed citizens make stupid voters.  That ’s right. Stupid. People now days are to lazy to investigate an issue and rely of the media to fill their minds and push them toward making a decision.  Example.

“”Tom has a business that takes money from older people who are already in financial trouble. ”” If that was true everybody should be against Tom and I would agree.  Unfortunately the media does not tell the entire story and it could be this.  ‘’Tom has a business that charges people a small fee to help t he recover losses from companies that lied to them or scammed them out of their money.  He does not take a percentage and he helps everyone including the older seniors. ’’  Now Tom is not a bad person.  See what I mean?  So if you do not know the entire sto ry, and you vote on what you have ‘heard’ or what a friend has told you, then you may be one of the stupid voters.  I personally am so tired of the candidates slinging mud at each other that I can not even remember what either one stands for.  Therefore, b ecause I want to make an intelligent vote, I have to spend some time doing research to find out the truth instead of taking the easy way out and listen to the TV or read the local ‘slanted newspaper’.  So please, do not be a stupid voter but instead become an informed intelligent citizen that makes a wise decision. Study each candidate on your own and do not be lead into stupidity.
